Kaltiot — Smart IoT solutions for water utilities

The water utilities of the future

Future water utilities will operate on real-time data and smart solutions that improve the efficiency, reliability and sustainability of water management. These solutions enable better network management, improved customer service and simplified data processing. Our goal is to create a fully digitized water management system that provides customers with a better service experience and more efficient network management.

Key elements for realizing the vision:

  1. Data-driven management: Water utility management can leverage real-time data on water management processes and consumption to support effective decision-making.
  2. Network management: Real-time water balance monitoring and automatic leak detection — including surface water leaks — enable cost reduction and minimization of water losses.
  3. Improved customer service: Customers are provided with better visibility into their own consumption and receive alerts for events such as leaks and changes in consumption, improving customer satisfaction and helping customers save water.
  4. Automation of manual billing tasks: Automating billing reduces the risk of human error and improves the administrative efficiency of water utilities.

Combining these elements enables water utilities to move towards smarter and more sustainable water management that better meets future challenges and customer needs.

Our vision:

The vision of Kaltiot Technologies is to be a long-term IT and software partner for water utilities — one that combines diverse data and technology, simplifies systems, and provides tailored, reliable solutions that enhance and develop water management.

Getting started:

Collaboration with Kaltiot Technologies can begin with a customized plan covering a wide range of water management needs. In the initial phase, we can jointly map out existing systems and identify areas for development, such as pump station operations, groundwater levels, flow measurements, well water levels, pressure measurements and stormwater monitoring.

We install and maintain a LoRa network as needed, enabling wireless data transfer from various measuring devices. We also provide expert support in migrating devices to the Kaltiot system, including remote reading of customers' water consumption and transferring billing data to billing systems.

We combine diverse data and create comprehensive reports that provide a clear picture of water utility operations and support decision-making. This ensures smooth and efficient collaboration that improves water management and supports sustainable development.
